It is with a heavy heart we inform the sad, sudden and untimely demise of Late Indra Sen. Born in 1956 he pursued a career in Library Science. He was a Principal Technical Officer in NISCAIR and National Coordinator for SAARC Documentation Centre an establishment of the CSIR.
Sunday the 3rd February 2013 it was a sudden and a very great shock for us to know that he met with a road accident and succumbed to his injuries.
He held a very special position in the School of Fototechnik and the Kriti Photography Club. He was the flag bearer of the Fototechnik family being its first student. He served the Kriti Photography Club as Secretary for over fifteen years. He had initiated in the formation of the School of Fototechnik Education Society to propagate photography through the Institute – School of Fototechnik – and formalize its functioning. He took charge as the President of this society and shared all responsibilities of the smooth functioning of the institute.
It has been an unimaginable loss to his only daughter and equally to the Fototechnik family. We pray to give us the ability to overcome this shock and give us the courage to support his daughter in the days of her crisis.
May his soul rest in peace.
